VIA @ Willing Hearts

Not long ago, our basketball boys went to Willing Hearts, a 100% volunteer-based non-profit organization. Willing Hearts is located at 11 Jalan Ubi Blk 6, #01-51 Chai Chee Community Hub. It has been registered as a society since February 2005. It provides daily meals and other support services to the underprivileged, the needy, and other marginalized members of our Singapore society. It also tries to assist and guide them towards rehabilitating and reinstating themselves as useful citizens.

Due to the detailed briefings given by our in charge teacher, all of us knew exactly and clearly our task and matters needing attention. With the instruction of the staff there, we divided ourselves into three big groups; one group washing vegetables, one group cutting vegetables, and the third group transporting the cut vegetables to the kitchen. We worked very hard and with great care. Our attitude and effort were praised by other volunteer workers there and we were quite happy with it.
