Nigel (4E3, 2009) was a very cheerful and positive player in the CCA, who showed a lot of care and concerns for his friends. He was in the CCA for 4 years, and represented the school in competitions in Sec 2 as well as Sec 4. As a player, he was committed and resilient. As a friend, he was encouraging and always there for the people around him.
After graduating from Henderson, he moved onto Ngee Ann Poly and joined Muay Thai as his CCA. He became the president of the club, which he transformed into a family where all members strived together and cared for one another. In 2013, Nigel also worked very hard to prepare himself to represent Singapore in a Muay Thai Competition. He and his team continued to train even during Chinese New Year.
Nigel left us on 12 Jan 2013 (3rd day of CNY).
Let's remember and be proud of Nigel for whole-heartedly pursuing his dreams, where he showed leadership and commitment, earned the respect and love from all of us in Henderson as well as Ngee Ann Poly, and taught us to be passionate about life.
Nigel, do remember that once a Hendersonian, always a Hendersonian, wherever you are.
We love you, and we miss you very much.
